  • A Landing Pad is the place that serves a place to land on at the end of each level in Jet Pack Adventure. There are a few situated around the island, with landing pads on the Beacon, Night Club Rooftop, and Pizza Parlor.
  • The Landing Pad was an introductory space for newcomers to watch videos and complete missions for them to get used to how SmallWorlds works. As of present, the furniture has been removed and the space unfeatured for use.
  • In the mid-22nd century, Rigel X had a landing pad just big enough for small auxiliary craft. In 2151, Shuttlepod 1 from Enterprise NX-01 landed there. (ENT: "Broken Bow") Later that year, Enterprise visited the Vulcan monastery of P'Jem, which also possessed a landing pad, just large enough for Shuttlepod 1 to land on. (ENT: "The Andorian Incident") As of 2152, the moon of Pernaia Prime had a large landing pad, capable of holding up to seven small craft. (ENT: "The Seventh") In 2286, the HMS Bounty was parked on a landing pad on Vulcan. (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home)
  • The landing pad, known as the caspad in the PAL region, was a small location in Jak II. It was situated on the island between the pumping station and the dig site, and held the landing site for air train travel (hence its name). It was also used to locate the weapons factory. Jak travelled here for the missions "Destroy equipment at dig", "Get seal piece at dig", and "Get Heart of Mar in weapons lab".

Jak travelled here for the missions "Destroy equipment at dig", "Get seal piece at dig", and "Get Heart of Mar in weapons lab". The area itself is a grassy and relatively flat land in the middle of a small dip in an otherwise mountainous area. It can be accessed from the pumping station by grind rails, which leads to a rocky area clear of vegetation, which eventually transitions into a somewhat tropical expanse decorated with palm trees and other vegetation growing on the rocky outcropping surrounding the area.
(Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home) The designation for the Bountys parking spot comes from the script. [1] The Cardassian-built space stations, Deep Space 9 and Empok Nor had six landing pads, though when they abandoned the latter, they sealed them. On Deep Space 9, Starfleet housed the station's complement of Danube-class runabouts there (DS9: "Emissary", "Empok Nor" et al) though they were also capable of accomodating both Ferengi and Romulan shuttlecraft. (DS9: "The Magnificent Ferengi", "Profit and Lace", "In the Pale Moonlight") In 2369, Major Kira Nerys returned from kidnapping Doctor Surmak Ren and requested docking procedures for landing pad 7. (DS9: "Babel") This information contradicts the information from other episodes as there were six landing pads. The same year the runabout USS Ganges docked at landing pad 7. Lieutenant Dax and Ensign Pauley returned from a routine mission in the Gamma Quadrant and needed help to get off the runabout because of a power loss of unknown origin. (DS9: "Q-Less") Before the Federation outpost on Bersallis III was destroyed by fire storms, it had a landing pad. This pad's location was labeled on a schematic of the outpost. (TNG: "Lessons" ) Soon after, Lieutenant Jadzia Dax and Chief Miles O'Brien launched a runabout from Runabout Pad C when they went to rescue Commander Benjamin Sisko, Major Kira Nerys, Doctor Julian Bashir, and Kai Opaka from the Gamma Quadrant. (DS9: "Battle Lines") In a line from the script of the episode "Progress" , Major Kira ordered two security officers to runabout pad three to accompany her to the Bajoran moon Jerrado and remove Mullibok, Baltrim, and Keena by force. Later the same year, Neela killed Ensign Aquino when he discovered her attempting to set up an escape route prior to her assassination attempt on Vedek Bareil Antos. She made it look like she was going to use Pad A, when instead she meant to use Pad C. Runabout pad C was located on level three. (DS9: "In the Hands of the Prophets") In 2370, Commander Sisko ordered a security team to meet with him on runabout pad C to rescue Major Kira Nerys from "The Circle" in the Perikian Peninsula on Bajor. (DS9: "The Circle") Later the same year during a plasma disruption that forced the evacuation of DS9, the USS Orinoco was at Landing Pad Three in case the skeleton crew had to leave in a hurry. (DS9: "Invasive Procedures") During the Maquis incident of 2370, Commander Sisko informed Odo and Doctor Bashir to meet him on Landing Pad C, to go on the search for Gul Dukat. (DS9: "The Maquis, Part II") In 2373, Lieutenant Jones was assigned to patrol duty near Runabout Pad E as Deep Space 9 prepared for an attack by the Dominion. (DS9: "By Inferno's Light") Around the same time, a Maquis base on Athos IV was equipped with one landing pad, large enough to accommodate a Danube-class runabout. (DS9: "Blaze of Glory")
