Synopsis
  • Oliver Queen, finding that hirelings of the landlord who owns his building are moving his furniture out, stops them and learns from Madame Estelle, another resident, that the landlord is trying to get everyone to leave. Ollie leads the other residents in a strike against the landlord. Secretly, though, the landlord is a one-time hitman who seeks to kill Sammy, one of the building’s residents, who witnessed him killing his parents years ago. Green Arrow tricks the landlord into firing a gun into a dummy, then nabs him and tells him that Sammy was institutionalized and had his memories of his mother and the killing destroyed by shock therapy.
  • On the trail of Dr. Fang’s men, Batman comes upon Sixto Morales who has been dwelling in the sewer while building a miniature replica of the town he used to live in in Mexico before he was forced to flee after killing the police chief's son in retaliation for the murder of Sixto's wife. Batman attempts to convince Sixto to leave the sewer but Sixto wishes not to leave as he has almost completed the replica. The decision is taken out of his hands when some of Fang's men, looking for a body they dumped in the sewer earlier, come upon Batman and Sixto. Batman defeats most of them but Sixto pursues one of them into the room where he was building his replica and Sixto defeats the goon, but the replica is smashed during the fight. Batman tells Sixto that he now has no reason to remain underground and Sixto accepts his offer to return to the city above.
