Het amulet wordt ook gebruikt tijdens de volgende questen: Rat Catchers, A Tail of Two Cats en Smoking Kills. Je kan het amulet ook gebruiken om Bob the Jagex Cat op te sporen. Toen het amulet nog maar net uit was, kon een speler maar maximum één exemplaar op het zelfde moment hebben. Later kwam er een update waardoor je met behulp van de drop truc zoveel amuletten kon krijgen dat je wil.

When wearing the amulet, telling the player's cat to "Chase-Vermin" and attempting to remove the amulet during the following chat sequence can sometimes cause it to disappear and the amulet slot will appear blank. Exiting to the lobby and returning should return the amulet to the amulet slot.
