  • ANSO was founded in November 2004 in Denmark and now has six member organizations, namely BLUS - Bøsse/Lesbiske Studerende [2] of Denmark, Friðarbogin [3] of Faroe Islands, FSS [4] of Iceland, Homoglobiini [5] of Finland, Sveriges Förenade Gaystudenter[6] of Sweden and UgleZ [7] of Norway. At its founding ANSO decided to have its seat in Mykines, Faroe Islands. In 2006 the seat of Anso was transferred to Denmark, as ANSO became a registered organization under Danish law. ANSO is member of IGLYO, International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Youth and Student Organisation.
