  • Paul Dafelmair was a Corporal in the United States Marines who appeared in the episode, Hung Out to Dry (episode) where the NCIS team led by Leroy Jethro Gibbs were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Marine, Lance Corporal Larry Fuentes who had died during a night-training jump. While Gibbs and Anthony DiNozzo interviewed him, Dafelmair insisted that he was innocent and that the Corp had given him a second chance due to the fact that he had a criminal history involving drugs and shoplifting. However, Abigail Sciuto later found evidence suggesting that Fuentes's parachute had been tampered with along with DNA which showed that despite his early pleas that he had changed, Dafelmair was involved with the drugs trade as Abby also told the team that the reside on Dafelmair's skin had come from cocaine that the Corporal had cutting and weighing. Dafelmair was eventually arrested and presumably jailed; while it's never directly stated on-screen, he was most likely also court-martialed and dishonorably discharged.
