  • Joey Bramlette (born 1952) is a drug smuggler who used to work for Enrique Ruiz in the everglades, until he witnessed Ruiz murder a DEA agent, then he went to the police and was scheduled to testify at Ruiz' murder trial, but while in protective custody, he got a letter from Ruiz' men saying they kidnapped his daughter Tammy and planned to kill her unless Bramlette refused to show at the trial for his testimony. Bramlette fled protective custody for the Glades, where he met up with his wife Cassie and a group of friends (and Crockett/Tubbs) to help battle Ruiz, Billy Joe Higgins and his brother Floyd, who were holding Tammy. After Bramlette's group won the battle and Tammy was safe, he (along with Crockett/Tubbs) race back to court just in time for Bramlette to testify.
