The Yogengan possess different abilities from both the Byakugan and Tenseigan, although related. However, like all main dojutsu, it grants it's user the ability to see chakra, chakra flow, the chakra pathway system, and chakra in almost all it's forms. It grants it's user new abilities that are solely dependent on the eyes. Each eye possess one power, and when combined a new power can be awakened. Once the power of both eyes is unlocked, their power can be combined to unleash the true power of the Yogengan. Hisashi possess Jinsei Nagare in his right eye, Seika Nagare in his left eye, and with both eyes he can use Tengoku Nagare. The powers rely on the moniker of the Byakugan being the "All Seeing White Eye" having the most raw visual prowess out of any dojutsu, allowing him to see the past, present, and even the near future with limitations.
