Synopsis
  • Arnim Zola orders Doughboy to drown Captain America and Thor in Devil's Lake. Meanwhile Taskmaster trains Cutthroat to replace Crossbones. Thor breaks free from Doughboy and Cap returns to Skull-House to find it gone. Elsewhere Col. Jameson drops Rachel off at class and kisses her. Rachel tells him not to pick her up after class. Cap looks around Skull-House's basement only to find Blackwing and Jack O'Lantern already there, looking to loot the place. Cap attacks. Zola reports to the Skull that he's shrunken Skull-House, and Red Skull tells him to bring it to his chalet. Jack O'Lantern hits Cap with an hallucinogen bomb. Rachel leaves her class, only for Crossbones to kidnap her.
  • Asp, Black Mamba and Impala break into an old Serpent Society HQ hoping to get a lead on Snapdragon. The girls are unaware the building is being monitored in the event of such a break-in and the Avengers dispatch Sersi as she is closest. Sersi encounters the girls as they attempt to determine if a vehicle that has been left behind is still serviceable and Impala attacks. Sersi renders the thrown weapon into flowers and transforms the girls into snakes. Sersi's contact at Avenger's mansion wants her to question the intruders so Sersi transforms them back into people.
