Parshall also hosts a daily television talk show for FamilyNet television. She was also host of the 2004 documentary George W. Bush: Faith in the White House. Parshall has written several books, including Traveling a Pilgrim's Path: Preparing Your Child to Navigate the Journey of Faith. In 2005, President Bush appointed Parshall to serve as a public delegate of the United States at the 49th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. Parshall hosts the TV documentary series Speechless: Silencing the Christians, which airs on the Inspiration Network and other religious stations. Born in 1950, Parshall is a graduate of Carroll College. She serves on the executive board of directors of the National Religious Broadcasters.
