| abstract | - Shia Mocksae was a Mid Rim world, third from the sun in the Mocksae system. A hot, dry world, the planet boasted considerable mineral resources. Much of the world's surface was covered with dry scrub, open desert or rocky hills, but it was not barren or inhospitable to human life. A single sea - more of a large lake then anything else - was the planet's only large body of surface water. The planet had only a slight axial tilt, resulting in not much difference between the seasons. The weather was usually very predictable and samey; hot and still, with long, dry stretches between bursts of rain. With two suns, the planet had long, hot days and then short, dry nights.
