Killmess remained under Ayish control until the 1st Battle of Killmess wherein the Old King Dos sent his forces to take the fortress. Queen Aye II Ayeson lost Killmess, and the rest of the Deresian, and Crahish colonies. Killmess remained Caiamare, "Killqueen"/"Killtigress" for centuries until Ilzor Hairas usurped the House of Eleses in the Sefenlands, becoming its 1st Emperor of the Sefenlands. He renamed the city Caiajahare or "Kill-Empress." After the Lobott Coup, and Deylki-Sefenlander War, the Lobott renamed the city Killmess.
