  • Auraball is a modified version of American baseball originating in New Jersey, United States in 2005. Teams range from 2 to 5 people. Auraball uses a collection of bat choices available to the batter: baseball, softball, teeball, or plastic bats. The batter stands a foot beside the base and attempts to hit the tennis ball that is pitched. The pitcher pitches the tennis ball from anywhere in the line of drive 6+ feet away from the batter. There are 6 innings in a game. If a player hits the ball into the field and a teammate catches it, the teammate can throw it as far away (not out of bounds) from the other team in an effort to get a home run.
