(which stands for “Stormtroopers of Death”) was the result of two members of Anthrax (Charlie Benante and Scott Ian), an ex-Anthrax member (Danny Lilker) and vocalist Billy Milano forming, which resulted in a very politically incorrect thrash metal band with some hardcore crossover tendencies. Upon getting together and getting smashed, the majority of the songs that were written during that hangover would make it onto the band’s debut of Speak English or Die, being mostly thrash metal with a sense of humor in the lyrics, along with most of the songs being very short in length. Due to band members being involved elsewhere (Anthrax and Nuclear Assault, along with vocalist Billy Milano forming M. O. D.), it would be years in between albums, but it was stated by members in interviews that they had never actually broken up. They would also release a live album and finally reemerge with a second studio album of Bigger Than the Devil in 1999, although they have since broken up. Their catalog was released through Megaforce Records, Caroline Records and Nuclear Blast.
