- When Tails was captured by Octobot, the robot nearly drowned him. However, the Forty Fathom Freedom Fighters managed to arrive just in time to save Tails' life and force Octobot to flee. From there, Big Fluke brought Tails to the continent of Downunda as his Sea Fox submarine was damaged by Octobot. Later, when Tails wished to return to Knothole, the Forty Fathom Freedom Fighters presented him with the repaired Sea Fox, enabling Tails to return home. (TMS: #1, #2, #3)
