  • Haas holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Computer Arts, focusing on 3D Character Animation, from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, California. Shortly after graduating in 2003, Haas began working at Visual Affect Productions, where he served as Co-supervising Animator for as CG "mockumentary" entitled No Continues. Since joining ILM in January 2004, Haas has worked on such films as Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. In addition to Star Trek, he has worked on two other films written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci: The Island and Transformers. Besides working at ILM, Haas is also an instructor of character animation at the Academy of Art University.
