| abstract | - Camp Omega was an Insurrectionist prison camp located on the colony of Glabetov. Built in 2541 by the Glabetovan People's Republic, the camp was designed to hold pro-UNSC citizens, as well as partisans or Office of Naval Intelligence operatives that were captured. The inmates were interrogated at length upon arrival, and were used as slave labor in various areas, though the most common was working in the opium poppy fields the GPR used as their main source of income. As the rebels feared that if the captured partisans or ONI operatives were released they would rejoin the resistance, it became practice to execute them once information had been obtained from them. The rest of the inmates were released after their sentences, with the threat that if they did anything to bring suspicion upon them again, they would be killed. In 2554, the SPARTAN-III's of Gamma Company raided the compound, believing it to be a rebel base. Instead they found the remainder of the inmates, who had been abandoned by the rebels when the UNSC returned to the planet. The compound was eventually demolished, and the date of Gamma Company's raid became the Day of Remembrance, as Camp Omega was the last known labor camp to ever be discovered and liberated.

Die Anlage ist der Schauplatz der Ereignisse in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. 1974 wurde Paz Ortega Andrade in der Karibik treibend aufgefunden und von Cipher in Camp Omega inhaftiert. Kurze Zeit später wurde dort auch Chico gefangengenommen, der auf der Suche nach Paz war, ohne Wissen seiner Kollegen bei den Militaires Sans Frontières. Es dauerte nicht lange, bis sich nun auch Big Boss auf die Suche nach den beiden machte.
