abstract
  • Wirth was a member of Travers' platoon in the 82nd Airborne Division. He is first seen in Infinite Mischief giving Dane a message from Sgt. Setzer requesting support. Travers and him went to help Setzer themselves after Dane held the Town Hall. Setzer then ordered Wirth to report to the colonel and tell them about the situation and status of Harding and his spotter. Throughout the campaign Wirth's voice is heard so he is involved in most of the missions. He spotted the Tiger tank in The Opening and he fought to Der Flakturm. There he was reunited with Setzer and assisted him in wiring the Flak Tower to blow. Travers was separated from them escaping in the sewers when a squad of Waffen SS and Fallschirmjägers attacked them. When Travers reaches the detonator for the explosives, both Wirth and Setzer were there, but Wirth is stone-dead with 4 dead Nazis while Setzer is mortally wounded and is crawling slowly to try and reach the fittingly named "Hellbox" detonator, and just as he's about to grab it, he dies. Travers takes it up instead and does the job for them.
