  • Agayla's Shop was situated on Reach Lane in Malaz City. It was owned by a mage named Agayla, one of the few remaining mages in Malaz City after Laseen's purge. It had apparently been built from the planks of a shipwreck. It was covered with woven garlands of Ivy and twists of herbs hung over the lintel. A sharp peppery scent was a permanent feature of Agayla's Shop. The shop featured several rows of shelves which consisted of glass drawers, Wire baskets hung from the rafters in clusters containing dried roots, leaves and entire plants. Banks of wall cabinets rose to the ceiling containing hundreds of slim drawers labelled by yellow vellum. These contained peppers, blossoms, roots, stems, all pickled in vinegar and different spirits in bottles, casks, vials, ivory tusks and horns of exotic animals. The shop became more cramped, either by Kiska's imagination, or due to the addition of more burlap sacks and shelves and boxes, later on. The shop also contained Agayla's loom which she would use to weave tapestries, simultaneously also summoning the Queen of Dreams.
