Heavy pulse cannons are usually featured on the Omega class destroyers and can inflict severe damage even to the advanced White Star cruisers. Light pulse cannons are mostly part of fighter armament and the defence grid of Babylon 5. The firepower of a standard cargo bay pulse cannon is about 200 MW.
  • One of A Trooper's first AoE abilities gained.
  • This mod is the standard mod for the Pulse Cannon and is more effective if shots are charged. Charge up shots to increase damage, effective against shields, poor against armor, but effective against most targets regardless. This is the basic unchanged mod of the Pulse Cannon, and the first mod the player can use.
  • Pulse cannons were the main armament of protoss interceptors during the Great War. They are lightweight guns that allow the interceptor to be maneuverable, and fire plasma charges in a strafing pattern at targets. After the Great War, plasma cannons replaced the pulse cannon as the interceptor's main armament.
  • A pulse cannon was a type of directed energy weapon. The Tandarans used pulse cannons in the mid-22nd century. (ENT episode: "Detained") In 2370, Quark arranged for Sakonna to buy a dozen pulse cannons from the Pygorians for the Maquis. (DS9 episode: "The Maquis, Part II")
  • Pulse Cannon (パルスキャノン Parusu Kyanon?) is a cannon enemy from Mega Man ZX Advent that locates and shoots down mid-air targets flawlessly, forcing them to land. It contains the DNA data of a high speed flying Pseudoroid. They appear in the Floating Ruins. The only way to destroy it is using Bifrost bite.
  • Pulse cannons appear in Star Wars Battlefront, a canon video game developed by DICE and released in 2015. In Battlefront, pulse cannons are a type of "Star Card," hands which players can select and add to their loadout and then use during matches.
  • The Pulse Cannon is a vehicle weapon featured in RAGE. Used on the Monarch class vehicles, it fires a large bolt of energy with certain homing abilities, almost similar in appearance to the Authority Pulse Cannon charges produced by BFG Rounds. It's also available as a primary weapon in the multiplayer mode Road Rage. It has the same power as the Pulse Cannon featured in the Campaign and is powerful enough to even take down a Boss.
  • The Tandaran Detention Complex 26 was defended by pulse cannons. They were the first targets hit by Enterprise NX-01 shuttlepod piloted by Trip Tucker during his liberation of the camp in late 2151. (ENT: "Detained") The two Tandaran patrol ships, that assaulted the Enterprise, also appeared to be armed with pulse cannons. Zobral's desert hideout was protected by pulse cannons. One of them was hit by two attacking Torothan cruisers, during a raid in 2152. (ENT: "Desert Crossing")
  • A pulse cannon was a type of weapon used by various species in the galaxy. In 2370, the Maquis sought to purchase pulse cannons. (DS9: "The Maquis, Part II") The So'jan military command and the Romulan defector Commander Telek L'mar developed a weapon that created highly charged disruptor-style beam, which they called a pulse cannon. After which the criminal known as Tyson Calok assisted in enhancing the beam, allowing the pulse cannon to severely damage Federation vessels, such as when it was used against the USS Apollo and USS Saladin. ("Prime Target", "Fall of the Apollo", "Monks of Or'pec")

It's also available as a primary weapon in the multiplayer mode Road Rage. It has the same power as the Pulse Cannon featured in the Campaign and is powerful enough to even take down a Boss. This is the most technologically advanced and powerful vehicle weapon in the game. One hit is enough to destroy any enemy vehicle, including the Authority Predator. It only comes with the Monarch vehicle and available after completing the quest "Monarch Needed". In the Campaign, the matching ammo becomes available from some vendors after acquiring the vehicle. It's rather expensive, but well worth the price due to the devastating effect on the enemies. Also, it helps to save some money on vehicle armor and some quick-use items.
