Synopsis | - Peter sews a new costume . By threatening JJJ's wife and son. Alistaire Smythe has coerced him into no longer running Spidey photos in the Bugle and into buying Spidey's costume and web-shooters . Now he has a new plan. Later. Glory calls Peter with a job. At the Bugle, Jonah informs him he's putting Spidey's costume on display in the Bugle lobby. He wants Pete to photograph Spidey in the act of reclaiming it. That night, JJJ tells Peter he regrets not looking under Spidey's mask . Peter sits far into the night until Smythe's mini-slayers advance on him. In Washington. Senator Ward meets with Senator Kelly, shaking hands with Susan Strong and apparently infecting her with his powers. At the Bugle, Spidey confronts Smythe who has brought nearly all of the previous Spider-Slayers. Spidey defeats most of them, then faces the latest version, a four-armed humanoid keeping JJJ prisoner. Before Spidey can act, a mini-slayer attaches itself to his head, invading the deepest recesses of his mind.
