Despite its surname, Jiraiya manipulated Cordé's parents into naming her: Cordé Amidala, with her last name, Amidala as a way of honoring Senator Padmé Amidala. the woman whom she served under and died for. Over the years to come, Cordé would grow up to know how she was named after her older sister due to her uncanny resemblance to her, unaware of her true origins and connections to Jiraiya. As of 20 ABY, Cordé resided on Naboo with the rest of her family, and survived well after the fall of the Empire and into the birth of the New Republic. Jiraiya also made several copies of the Cordé template to serve him. Like Senator Amidala, Padmé Amicola would name one of her handmaiden clones after Cordé.
