Synopsis
  • While the Outsiders prepare for Christmas and train, Batman is on the case of a missing baby. Elsewhere Black Lightning goes to the grave of Trina Shelton to pay his respects, unaware that the Shelton family has hired New Wave and her Masters of Disaster to kill Black Lightning. While investigating the missing baby, Batman is shocked to find that finger prints of the baby's apparent abductor was himself based on finger prints, and finds that children all over the city are rapidly aging from infancy told being elderly Batman is then confronted by the Phantom Stranger who warns the caped crusader that things are not what they seem. When Geo-Force brings a young couple to the hospital so that a woman may give birth to her child, they soon find that the child is really the reincarnation of Tannarak, who ages to adult hood in moments and attacks everyone in the hospital. The Outsiders arrive as well as the Phantom Stranger who battle Tannarak. Eventually, the Phantom Stranger over powers Tannarak who rapidly ages until he is dust, reversing the effect on all the children in the city, restoring them to normal. The family at the hospital give birth to a second miracle child shortly thereafter.
