  • Free-to-play Ranged training
rdfs:comment
  • Ranging in the free worlds, while having less equipment and features than the member's world, provides some fun on battling monsters and players who would otherwise be out of reach. While member rangers are revered and considered dangerous even from sight, a well armed ranger of the free-to-play world still packs quite some power – enough to bring down an unprepared warrior with full rune armour in a few shots. This guide will provide the steps and choices of ranging depending on the player style and taste in training.
  • For training, a player should use the type of ammunition that fits best to their used weapon. For economical training players should avoid using too expensive ammunition though, which especially includes rune arrows and higher tiered gem-tipped and enchanted bolts.

abstract
  • For training, a player should use the type of ammunition that fits best to their used weapon. For economical training players should avoid using too expensive ammunition though, which especially includes rune arrows and higher tiered gem-tipped and enchanted bolts. The ammunition used with a given ranged weapon affects damage dealt in a hit, but does not affect the weapon's accuracy. A hit is determined only by the accuracy bonus of bows, while the strength of the hit is affected by the ammunition (arrows/bolts) as well as the damage potential of the bow. Using a lower tiered ranged weapon with a higher tiered ammunition caps the damage value to the weapon used.
