| abstract | - The Vale Police Department (VPD), also referred to as the Vale Police Force, is the main law enforcement agency in Vale. They were in pursuit of the notorious criminal Roman Torchwick as part of an open investigation into a string of dust robberies, as well as any number of other possible criminal charges that are unspecified. In Roman's plan, he has set up positions that either evade or confront the police force across the city. It is unknown if the Department has jurisdiction of the city or the province. Two Vale Police Force detectives are seen in "The Stray", investigating the robbery of a Dust shop, the second in the week, presuming the White Fang to be responsible. The two detectives are later seen chasing Sun Wukong after ordering him off of a lamp post.
