- Ladros was the name of the north-eastern corner of Dorthonion in the north of Beleriand during the First Age. As the rest of Dorthonion, Ladros was dotted with great pine forests and steep slopes. It lay at the very border of Morgoth's realm, just south of the Anfauglith.
- Il Ladros era una terra del Beleriand localizzata nella regione del Dorthonion. Fu un feudo sottoposto alla signori di Finrod Felagund, il quale poi lo concedette agli Edain della Casa di Bëor che vi si stabilirono come suoi vassalli. Occupata da Morgoth dopo la Dagor Bragollach, questa terra fu sommersa dal mare dopo la Guerra d'Ira assieme al resto del Beleriand.
- Ladros (Sindarin: Tal des Sprühregens) war ein Hochlandgebiet und lag im Nordosten von Dorthonion und nördlich des Aeluin-Sees. Kurze Zeit war es der Wohnsitz des Hauses Beor, ging aber dann in der Dagor Bragollach (Schlacht des Jähen Feuers) an Morgoth verloren. Das Gebiet von Ladros war ursprünglich ein Lehen von Finrod Felagund. Finrod hatte später dieses Land Boromir und seinem Haus Beor zugeteilt, weil er und die Mitglieder seines Hauses stets loyal zu ihm standen. Boromir wurde so der 1. Fürst von Ladros. Aus dem Hause Beor gingen drei Fürsten von Ladros hervor:
