| Synopsis | - Cyclops’ X-Men team try to board the Conquistador, but to no avail. Rogue’s team meanwhile is trapped on the Conquistador, but their combined efforts manage to escape and destroy a large number of the Children of the Vault, while learning that the Children of the Vault intended to replace humans and mutants, but not for quite some time, until they were unexpectedly woken by M-Day. Sangre, leader of the Children of the Vault plans to drive the Conquistador into the X-Men’s mansion, thus destroying everyone present, until Mystique destroys him, and Cannonball, with the help of the Sentinel Squad prevents the Conquistador from crashing, it now just hovers above the mansion. Cyclops congratulates Rogue, only for Rogue to reveal that her team of X-Men are leaving the mansion. Meanwhile, the Beast discovers that the mysterious old man found outside the Institute has some sort of postmortem growth, while in Ecuador, a large number of the Children of the Vault survived, and a new leader has risen, and announces that the X-Men believe they are all dead, so will never see them coming!
