  • The word Near-Human was a general term typically used to denote any species or sub-species found in the Milky Way Galaxy that shared a similar biology and characteristics to that of baseline Humans (Humanity). Most of the time, it was believed that many Near-Human species shared one common genus or ancestor, Homo-sapiens sapiens and that they deviated from each other due to conditions that called for adaptation and evolution. Sometimes, the term "Humanoid" was loosely used to describe Near-Humans, although it was usually used in a derogatory manner due to Human ignorance and supremacy (Prehistoric era).

Many identified Near-Humans were known to have shared many close similarities to baseline Humans. These inherent similarities ranged from differences in skin tone or eye color or bone structure. However, that was typically not the case. Several Near-Human species were observed to have completely different outlook appearances but still shared the same molecular structure as baseline Humans albeit there was sometimes a small deviation in the DNA and chromosomes, usually a minimal 0.01-0.05% difference for DNA while in chromosomes there was an additional chromosome in the Human genes. At a biological standpoint, most Humans were capable of interbreeding with their Near-Human cousins, although there might be some difficulties at hand.
