After the Theatre Studies course he moved to London and worked for Manpower Services Commission as a facilitator of acting workshops for the unemployed and then attended East 15 Acting School on a 3-year course, graduading in 1989. On Coronation Street he played a Man who called at the Builder's Yard in January 2007 with a late payment for the recently deceased Charlie Stubbs. Other credits include roles in London's Burning, Soldier Soldier, Undercover Heart, Wing and a Prayer, Silent Witness, The Bill and The Royal.
