Synopsis
  • Phantom Zone inmates Dr. Xadu and his wife, Erndine Ze-Da, escape when a rift is created through a volcanic explosion. They capture and impersonate Jonathan and Martha Kent, pretending insanity so as to set Superboy up for a trap. Superboy deduces their true identities, and exiles them to a world under a red sun, where they have no super-powers.
  • While Superboy is at a meeting of the Legion of Super-Heroes, Pete Ross damages a Superboy robot left on guard duty and must impersonate the robot and find ways of approximating its super-feats in emergencies.
