To activate Divine Saber, either spell must be cast first, then extended immediately afterward again with either spell. In Tales of the Abyss, Divine Saber can be used by Jade Curtiss through the execution of Blessed Drops within a fully-charged Wind or Light FOF Circle, or when the target is standing in a similar FOF Circle. The arte is Wind-elemental, as many Lightning-elemental artes became in this game. In special circumstances, Divine Saber can also be used by Anise Tatlin by equipping the accessory called the "Rare Genius", a reference to Harold Berselius as the original owner of the arte. This allows to her to use the Divine Saber without requiring an FOF Change. Divine Saber is a spell in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World despite not appearing in the original game, and is the arte Marta Lualdi will contribute to a Unison Attack, as well as the "Second Movement" of a Unison Attack that Light-elemental monsters can use. It was also given to Raine Sage in the game to replace her original Ray and Holy Lance spells.
