  • The Sea of Storms is south of the main continent. The Sea Folk live on many islands within it.
  • The Sea of Storms is one of the three non-polar oceans of Darelth, and is located between the Sea of Winds to the west, and the Inner Ocean to the east. It is completely controlled by the Xemil Empire. The Sea of Storms derives its name from the near-endless amount of rain that falls from it's ever-clouded sky throughout the year. Most of the rain falls into the deep waters, but the shores of the Sea of Storms are far from dry.
  • The Sea of Storms is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. This large body of water is found in southern Labrynna. It is located just east of the Zora Seas and southwest of the Sea of No Return. The Sea of Storms takes its name from its deep, treacherous waters, which are surrounded by many Whirlpools. Zora are the only creatures which have managed to settle and survive here. The ring of whirlpools that surround the sea can be entered only at one point, but by order of the King Zora, it is guarded.
  • The Sea of Storms is the large ocean that lies to the south of the Westlands, Termool and Shara, and to the north of the Land of the Madmen. The Atha'an Miere are the only people known to sail this sea. It is named because of its constant storming, and in the winter, tempests called "cemaros" roll across the Sea of Storms. Mayene, Tear, Illian and Ebou Dar are the largest ports on the Sea of Storms.

Mayene, Tear, Illian and Ebou Dar are the largest ports on the Sea of Storms. The Sea Folk islands of Tremalking, Qaim and Cindaking lie in the Sea of Storms. There are also larger Sea Folk island groupings known to exist much further to the south, where mainlanders do not travel. The Sea of Storms washes against the northern shores of the island continent known as the Land of the Madmen, the existence of which is virtually unknown to people other than the Sea Folk. The Sea Folk have declared this landmass off-limits, due to dangerous volcanic activity and also the instability and violence of the inhabitants, who fell into savagery during the Breaking of the World and have never recovered.

After completing the seventh dungeon, Jabu-Jabu's Belly, Link is given the Zora Scale, allowing him to enter the ring of whirlpools in the past. There, he finds the trapped Cap'n and his crew. Link trades the captain his Zora Scale for the Tokay Eyeball, enabling his ship to escape the sea and travel to Holodrum.
