  • Infestation is a multi-property crossover event that includes most of IDW Publishing's licensed properties. An outbreak of zombies from the Zombies vs. Robots world breaks into other dimensions, including the realities of Transformers, Star Trek, G.I. Joe, and Ghostbusters, among potential others. An eight-page preview was released in November 2010. The crossover event includes a two-part bookend story called simply Infestation, between which two-part stories from each property will be told. Interaction between properties is limited until the final issue of the bookend story.
  • The infestation is a far more powerful cousin to the Infestor however this is a Floating Fortress, it's far slower but it carrys considerably more fire-power and infest pods than the smaller version. It's a horrifying infestation! It's questionable if it's even helping the bloons, the acid doesn't even spare the bloons. It just goes around unleashing plagues of Infest spores wherever it goes...
  • Infestation requires at least 50% of a full endurance bar to be used and as a triggered ability, a creature will not Infest unless commanded to be the player. Although this ability is powerful, one of its biggest drawbacks is the amount of time it needs to inflict its full damage. It works well against buildings like the Lightning Rod, which has low hit points, but an opponent can counter-balance the corrosive damage by having one or two Henchmen repair it. This is still beneficial to you as they will be focusing on a building and not collecting coal, which will weaken your enemy's economy.

  • "Infestation", known as "of Invasion" (侵(しん)略(りゃく)の Shinryaku no) in the OCG, is an archetype of Spell and Trap Cards that support the "lswarm" archetype. It is supported solely by "Evilswarm Ophion". Due to its Japanese name, "Invasion of Flames" is part of this archetype. However, since the only support card for this archetype specifies Spell/Trap Cards in the Deck, this has never been an issue.

  • Infestation is primarily used to slow down an enemy's economy, as it forces them to relocate their Harvesters to a new Tiberium field, which may leave them to open attack if said field was outside the enemy's base. It may even destroy these Harvesters if the enemy is either unaware(due to battle) or ignorant of his economy going down. Note that Infestation is only effective on Tiberium fields that are not depleted, because otherwise it would be nearly useless until the Tiberium grows back to reasonable amounts.
  • St. Gulik is a messenger of the Gods. Some call him Hermes. (Some think it is a mispronunciation of Vermin.) St. Gulik the Stoned is a roach. Whether in a Literal sense or in a Metaphysical, Figurative sense, his skittering form encapsulates HOLY NEWS OF THE DAY! What is not known except to the few, is that succssfully stomping a gulik will result in a Megaton Release of Spiritual Insight and Growth. Imagine the sight of a discordian dancing around, stomping the guliks. A Gulik Gankino Horo! That info travels at the speed of light right into the pineal gland ! Wow! And aerobic too!
  • Casting Time: 1 action Range: 30 feet Components: V, S, M (a living flea) Duration: Instantaneous You cause a cloud of mites, fleas, and other parasites to appear momentarily on one creature you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or it takes 1d6 poison damage and moves 5 feet in a random direction if it can move and its speed is at least 5 feet. Roll a d4 for the direction: 1, north; 2, south; 3, east; or 4, west. This movement doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks, and if the direction rolled is blocked, the target doesn’t move. .
  • The user can cause Infestations which can be classified as either external or internal with regards to the pest', parasites', diseases' or any other invasive animals' or plants' location in relation to the host or area with pests or parasites. An external ectoparasitic infestation is a condition in which organisms live primarily on the surface of the host (though Porocephaliasis can penetrate viscerally) and includes those involving mites, ticks, and head lice. An internal endoparasitic infestation is a condition in which organisms live within the host and includes those involving worms.

Whether in a Literal sense or in a Metaphysical, Figurative sense, his skittering form encapsulates HOLY NEWS OF THE DAY! A direct communication from the Gods, or at least one Goddess, Eris , Our Harbinger of Change. From his little antenna, messages are FLASHING through the Ether to YOUR PINEAL GLAND . Sometimes the information is so Important, that one gulik will just not be enough. Eris doesn't care about Roach Budgets. She will send scores of the brown crawling bugs to GET HER POINT ACROSS! Stomping guliks is an act of DEVOTION. You can say a prayer as you do it, or you can shriek or laugh maniacally. It is really up to you. This experience is also a time when you can cross the veil into the SPOOKY, SUPERNATURAL REALM and directly interact with the Godheads! Each little gulik is in some sort of reality, an Incarnation of a HEAVENLY AVATAR of that Sainted, Stoned, Messenger, Roach! Wow! That sure beats a seance!

Infestation may also be used to force the enemy to make two choices when an infested Tiberium field is blocking the path to the player's base: either go around it, which buys the player time to prepare defenses, or go through the field and risk losing their units to destroy the Tiberium hive. AI enemies are known to use the second option, often either ignoring or destroying the Tiberium hive just to reach their targets. Also, in maps such as Bordertown Beatdown and Rocktagon, this is very effective, though at the cost of turning a potential economy boost into a deathtrap for all sides. Because the Tiberium hive is almost as fragile as a Growth Accelerator, Infestation is not a long-term solution, as a daring commander can send his units durable or fast enough to destroy the hive. Air units and some support powers such as Orca Strike can destroy it without risk. Note that Infestation is only effective on Tiberium fields that are not depleted, because otherwise it would be nearly useless until the Tiberium grows back to reasonable amounts.
