  • The Armor Knight is a class from Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance. As their name suggests, their focus is on defense rather than offense. Their Evility is Hero's Shield. Usually when a unit uses Defend, they can take damage in place of ally units that are right next to them. Defender allows the Armor Knight to ignore this range limitation and defend ally units regardless of their distance. Armor Knights are an excellent choice as vanguards due to their respectable ATK and impressive DEF and RES. (This also makes the Armor Knight an excellent back-up healer, if spell are learned) Sword, Spears, Axes, and (if Weapon Mastery is improved VIA Chara World) Bows are all excellent weapons to give an Armor Knight. The primary weakness of the Armor Knight is their lack of mobility, having relatively low movement and jump stats. As such, Shoes or Chara World trips are recommended to boost their movement.
