After she retired, Blumberg did commentary for CBS Sports, and was a Motivational speaker. She worked as the Ensemble Director for the Ice Theatre of New York, and appeared in the 2007 film Blades of Glory. She is also an ISU Technical Specialist. Blumberg was inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 1996.
