They may have been doing so under Dean Francis 's orders or by themselves (which are both equally likely). They beat up Tariq, Matthew, another girl, and Tariq's sister. Matthew also was once friends with a guy in the gang. The blonde guy seemed to be the one that did most of the beating, while Jason (the lead guy with brown hair) is the main one in the gang.
