After his fight with Charles, Gabriel contacted a local clergyman named Reverend Strack. He told Strack that Angelique was a witch who had bewitched his brother. Angelique was captured and executed on the grounds of the Collinwood estate. When Quentin killed Strack, Gabriel sealed Charles alive in the family crypt with Angelique's corpse.
