  • Okuyama Shrine
rdfs:comment
  • While the location of this shrine has only been eluded to briefly it is believed to be in a mountainous region somewhere north of the Land of Fire. The surrounding area has several notable features, including persistent fog and nearby waterfalls. Furthermore, the area is surrounded between several significantly sized mountains, which are covered with dense vegetation, and a large freshwater lake fed by the aforementioned waterfall. The shrine itself has been built upon what appears to be a naturally formed stone pillar that can only be approached via small bridges, which hang above the lake several hundred feet below. Unfortunately, due to the fog cover it usually appears as if the shrine is sitting among the clouds.

The shrine itself has been built upon what appears to be a naturally formed stone pillar that can only be approached via small bridges, which hang above the lake several hundred feet below. Unfortunately, due to the fog cover it usually appears as if the shrine is sitting among the clouds. Inside the shrine Nōsei has found several ancient texts regarding his clan, mysticism, and Yūgure. He also found a necklace that was traditionally worn by members of his clan. Nōsei uses this place often as a storehouse for arms and research materials, but it primarily serves now as his temporarily escape from the outside world.
