His mentors commented to both Kyle and his parents that he showed amazing apptitude with weaponry and combat, almost bordering on the line of precognition. The politics of the Tion Cluster and the Barseg system were complex and ruled by the Noble Houses of Barseg, with the House of Turan ruling for the past two centuries. It was during the current state of affairs in the galaxy that his father, the King, was murdered along with the rest of his family during a celebration of the King's birthday. Kyle was delayed in arriving at the ceremonies and was absent when the House of Furim took the throne via a coup d'etat. Kyle was lucky to escape in one of the House Guards Thor starfighters and flee the system, heading for parts unknown.
