Soon afterwards Sandy arrives back at Tall Trees Cottage and is confronted by an angry Laurel, who suggests he is becoming forgetful. Ashley suggests that he should see a doctor, but Sandy is outraged, explaining that he is happier than he has been for years. Unbeknownst to everyone, at the hide, a burning twig drops from the stove onto Sandy's blanket. Elsewhere, Paddy's planning for Vanessa's party ends in disaster when the fridge door is left open, Cameron stirs things with Jimmy about Thomas, while Andy reluctantly lets Kerry look after the kids when he's called to work - but Kerry is disgruntled that it's always about keeping Debbie happy.
