She announced her candidacy in the 2052 presidential election in November the previous year. She was nominated by the Republican Party in June 2052 after winning more delegates than her opponent, Zachary Palmbush. After overcoming several controversies during her campaign, she defeated Democratic incumbent Liam Clarkson was elected President on November 5, 2052. She was sworn into office on January 20, 2053.
