  • Archie Robert Henderson (born February 17, 1957 in Calgary, Alberta) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player. He played for the Washington Capitals, Minnesota North Stars, and Hartford Whalers. He was selected by the Capitals 156th overall in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft. Henderson was known as a tough grinder who regularly exceeded 100, or even 200, penalty minutes in a season. He got into 7 games with the Capitals in 1980-81, 1 game with the Minnesota North Stars in 1981-82, and 15 with the Hartford Whalers in 1982-83. The balance of his career was spent in the minor pros.
