Due to his Sith heritage, the ancient Sith spirits entombed in the Valley of the Sith Lords transferred some of their remaining Dark Force energy into him and proclaimed him a Sith Lord. He eventually came into the service of the reborn Palpatine and was sent to Utapau on a reconnaissance mission. His strike team was ambushed by two Jedi, one of them, he sensed, was strong in the Dark Side. After killing one and wounding the other, he offered the Jedi a place at his side, to which she agreed and was named Darth Obsodian. After a short while hunting down those responsible for sending Obsodian's family into slavery, he discovered the existence of a powerful artifact: the Sith Crystal. With the help of other fallen Jedi they hijacked the Star Destroyer Punisher. And traveled to the place it had all started: Korriban. After recovering the artifact, his apprentice turned on him and took the crystal for herself. After tracking her to Mustafar and presumably killing her, he stole an Imperial Shuttle and ventured to parts unknown. A year later he had taken control of Warlord Tuell and his Super Star Destroyer and made a base on Zaloriis. He planned to use the crystal to amplify himself and his followers power. He was defeated when a Jedi taskforce ambushed him in his own base, killed him, and cast his spirit into a sinkhole.
