Despite his cold nature he shows his softer side to his inner circle of comrades. Hibari Hates Ryu Kamina with every fiber of his being. This causes the two to bump heads constantly. Ryu and Hibari have fought on several occasions, with the intent to kill the other in mind. Hibari desires to kill Ryu seeing him as an eyesore and a disgrace.
