  • The 2008 Toyota Tundra 200 was a Craftsman Truck Series event held at Nashville Superspeedway on August 9, 2008. Johnny Benson, Jr. described his truck as junk most of the race. Yet, he turned his blues into a guitar melody, picking up his third straight victory to claim the Nashville custom guitar trophy. He was just the 5th driver in the series to win three straight and the first repeat winner in the track's series history. Erik Darnell was second, losing the lead to Benson with just three laps to go. The dominant stretch allowed Benson a slight bit more of breathing room in the points, with the Michigan driver now 45 markers ahead of Ron Hornaday, Jr. (5th).
