Grimer named him after this ability, although Robotnik did not seem to find the name very amusing. When he faced them down in the Mushroom Valley on the Floating Island, he quickly defeated all of them; even managing to predict when Knuckles would attempt to sneak attack from underground, and countering it. However, when Sonic pretended to surrender, contrary to Predicto's expectations that Sonic would never give up, Predicto's computer brain overloaded and he self-destructed.
