  • A belief is that which is believed in.
  • By hovering the hand over a village center, the player can have access to information regarding belief in a particular village. Nearly every act performed by a god or his/her creature while in presence of the villagers will yield some amount of belief. Repeating a same act over and over will yield less and less belief until the act itself becomes unimpressive. At this point, it will not yield belief until some time has passed without the villagers seeing it. Belief isn't used in Black & White 2.
  • A belief is something which is held to be true, even though there is nothing to show it is. Belief gainstands lore, in which nothing is taken to be true until it can be shown to be so.
  • A belief is a particular view on the Universe. Belief is in contrast to both doubt and knowledge, the three of which form a spectrum of certainty. Generally, a belief is a form of opinion that is not universally accepted as truth due to lack of convincing evidence. Belief can take a variety of forms and apply to many different subjects. The primary concern of belief lies in the supernatural, or that which cannot be directly observed in the natural world. When several beliefs are clustered into a single topic or teaching, it is called a doctrine.
  • "Belief" is the 966th episode of Casualty and the fifth episode of the 30th series. It was preceded by "Cradle to the Grave" and followed by "All the Single Ladies". The episode was directed by Steve Hughes and written by Mark Catley. It focuses around the events when two sides of extremism clash, causing havoc in the ED.
  • Belief is when a person is convinced that a statement or set of ideas are true. 1. * Belief can be rational as when we believe that the Earth goes round the sun. 2. * Belief can also be irrational as with all those religious beliefs and Mythology.
  • |} Belief was the 8th episode of the 5th season of The Dumping Ground. It was first broadcast on 3rd March 2017 at 4:30pm on CBBC and CBBC HD.
  • This page is intended to define the INTERSLAVIC word form for the ENGLISH word at the top of the column to the right. If the INTERSLAVC box is "blank", then a word form has not yet been selected. Immediately below the INTERSLAVIC box is a link entitled "discussion about this word" - which will link you to a "Discussion" page specifically for the WORD at point. Below the Discussion Page link, under "PRIRODNE JEZYKI" ("Natural Languages") are listed the various modern Slavic natural languages - in their respective native language forms (NOTE: some natural language may be missing)
  • Belief is like optimism, only even sillier. Since the Dawn of Time, mankind has for example believed in pixies & goblins, werewolves and vampires, fairies and sprites, Santa Claus & the Easter Bunny, despite a total lack of evidence to support those beliefs. They have believed too that the other man's grass is always greener and Petula Clark even had a hit with a song to that effect. Other 'belief' songs include "I Believe I Can Fly" by Kelly, and "Believe, Belief, Below" by Electro Shock Therapy.

The "Slovio" project is no longer active. "Novosloviensky" and "Slovianski", on the other hand, have joined together as "INTERSLAVIC" or "MEDŽUSLOVJANSKI" - each offering a slightly different grammatical format. The need to believe in something, regardless of how silly or even illegal it might be, is one of the characteristics which sets mankind apart from other species. Dolphins for instance, do not believe in anything apart from fish, fun and fucking and in Uncyclopedia's unprejudiced opinion, dolphins have their shit a lot more together than most of mankind.
