- Curse of the Azure Bonds wurde von den Strategic Simulations, Inc. im Jahr 1989 auf den Markt gebracht. Es handelte sich um einen Teil der Pool of Radiance-Serie und zugleich Teil der GoldBox-Serie. Die Charaktere des Spielers wurden mit einem Fluch belegt, den sog. Azure Bonds. Dieser Fluch kann immer wieder die Kontrolle über die Charaktere übernehmen und so müssen sie sich aufmachen die Quelle dieses Übels zu entdecken. Des Besondere an dem Spiel ist, dass man im Verlauf des Abenteuers auch Charakteren aus dem Roman Azure Bonds begegnen kann.
