| abstract | - The San Martin Navy, or SMN, was the armed space force responsible for the territorial integrity of the Republic of San Martin. In the San Martin War, it was drawn out of position towards the terminus. This left the planet without strong defenses. The San Martin Navy was destroyed during Havenite invasion of San Martin in 1880 PD. At that time, it was out-classed by the People's Navy. The only known officer of the SMN was Commodore Jesus Ramirez. He was responsible for the security of the final civilian evacuations from the Trevor's Star System via the Manticore Wormhole Junction. Commodore Ramirez' force was defeated, but he managed to destroy three times more than the number of units he commanded in Havenite warships. (HH1, HH2, HH8, HH9)
