  • Randy Layne Turnbull (born February 7, 1962 in Red Deer, Alberta) is a retired ice hockey defenceman. He played one NHL game for the Calgary Flames in the 1981–82 season. He played Tier II Junior "A" for the Fort Saskatchewan Traders from 1977 to 1979 and major junior for the Portland Winterhawks from 1978 to 1982. The Calgary Flames chose him 97th overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft and called him up for one game in the 1981-82 season. Turnbull turned pro in 1982-83 with the Colorado Flames. He spent six seasons in the minor pros but could not make it back to the NHL.
