  • Nichiyō Rōzuobu (日曜ローズオブ, Rose of the Sun) may refer to one of the following: * The zanpakutō wielded by Sousetsu Shiba. * The zanpakutō wielded by Sousetsu's descendant, Rosuto Shiba.

It appears to have brown-colored hilt wrapping and an exceptionally long handle that would easily accommodate four hands; and an equally brown guard shaped like a circle to protect the hand, while the blade seems to have a slightly more pronounced curved edge as average katana possess. • Unlike some of the previous generation of blades, Nichiyō Rōzuobu fits the appearance of a more traditional katana unlike the unique shapes seen in weapons like Kubikiribōchō and Samehada. It appears to have brown-colored hilt wrapping and an exceptionally long handle that would easily accommodate four hands; and an equally brown guard shaped like a circle to protect the hand, while the blade seems to have a slightly more pronounced curved edge as average katana possess. As a result of its small stature, the sword itself is quiet light and requires little physical strength to use effectively, as some of the older swords were quite heavy as expressed by Suigetsu Hōzuki. As a hidden surprise, Rosuto has revealed that the elongated hilt serves a purpose as the bottom half of the hilt can be twisted and then removed to reveal a dagger-length of steel roughly 32cm long to assist in backward stabs and surprise attacks; as Rosuto has frequently shown. Nichiyō Rōzuobu's true purpose, however, is the strengthening of Fire Release Jutsu via Chakra Flow. When mixed with the Chakra of the wielder, Nichiyō Rōzuobu's edge comes alive with intense flames that follow the arc of the swing; incinerating anything within its path and range. Amazingly, the flames only ever travel to the sides and front - never the back - ensuring the safety of the one wielding it. Just by holding the sword, the wielder enjoys a boost to their Fire Release techniques, though because of the extra power, they naturally require more Chakra to perform. In terms of self-repair, Nichiyō Rōzuobu can utilize other flames - but not its own - to repair itself should it either be chipped or broken.
